John Tiwald’s first degree was a bachelor’s degree is in electrical engineering. He then graduated from law school at the University of Nebraska and has practiced law in New Mexico ever since. John is married to Margaret Reidy, a native of Lincoln, NM, and they have two children. John served on the board of directors of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association for many years and was an officer of the association. He was also an editor of the Journal of the NMTLA for several years, and writes for that Journal, which is widely read by lawyers throughout the state. John gives seminar presentations to lawyers in continuing education programs and is one of the authors of a litigation manual used by lawyers throughout New Mexico. He also is a court-appointed mediator for the District Court’s Settlement Week program. |

John’s practice emphasizes representing injured people in a wide variety of cases, ranging from automobile accidents to product liability injuries, industrial accidents and medical and hospital malpractice cases. The Tiwald Law Firm also handles consumer fraud cases. |
